Well, this is a little late but I attended my Graduation Last week on the 26th.
It was good fun, I walked away with 3 awards which is great.
- Sydney Institute Achievement Award: for Diploma of Information Technology Networking
- Pearson Outstanding Student Award: For Diploma of Information Technology NetworkingAnd best of all
- Australian Computer Society (ACS) Certificate of Appreciation: for Diploma of Information Technology Networking
This is really good for myself, and my resume and it has been adjusted thusly.
On another note, I have decided to do a bit of volunteer work for the ACS, they have a Young IT group which I have pasted a blurb from their about section:
“Young IT is here to provide a voice for ACS young IT professionals and students, as well as a range of services and benefits for members. Currently we organise and run an annual YIT career conference and other events such as local career days, soft skills and technical seminars, networking opportunities and social events (e.g. Young IT in the Pub) in each of the states. To find out what is happening in your state please visit the local event calendar or the events calendar on this site.”
