Well, my sister won tickets to the Breakfast on the Sydney Harbour Bridge event on Sunday 25/10/2009.
I must say waking up at 4:30am was not quite what I wanted to do on a Sunday morning for breakfast, but it had to be done. 🙂
The bridge was segmented into picnic areas, we were closest to the city. During the walk across the bridge we past some cows and other nonsense, to be honest the cows were great, you have to love cows. 🙂
I have a feeling it was all in promoting NSW’s agriculture and fresh food industry.
We all had to bring our own food, my sister made some fig & walnut damper, I made fruit salad, and my sisters friends brought some good cheeses, Camembert & Blue. Soo Good.
There were some folks handing out fresh bread, Raspberry Jam, Yogurt and apples which was nice too and we all landed up with an ugly luminous yellow hat in the end.
Apart from it being the noisiest picnic spot with the Helicopters hovering over and the train every 10minutes, it was great fun.
Here are some photos I took, good stuff.
